Biography
Serena Rossi was born in Milan in 1972. She graduated in Pharmacy in 1999. She has taken various courses in visual arts, since 2002 she has exhibited her works in Italian and international exhibitions and some of them are part of private and public collections such as the Camo open-air museum and the BPL collection.
In 2011 she exhibited at the 54th Venice Biennale at the Padiglione Italia in Turin, at the invitation of the critic Sgarbi.
In 2022 participates to the call Rodello art and exhibits in the Church of the Immaculate of Rodello a site specific work entitled Pray for us, which gives to the Museum of the Diocese of Alba, International collective exhibition The sacred and the fragile from June to October 2022 curated by Enrica Asselle.
In 2023 she participates to the XIV Biennale di Firenze and the first Biennale di Poesia nelle Arti with painting performances in Tortona and the exhibition at the Galleria Ricci Oddi d’Arte Moderna in Piacenza, curated by Massimo Silvotti. In the same year she exhibited at the collective exhibition Photography now at the Cica Museum in Gyeonggi, Korea. .
In the years 2013 in Bologna, 2022 in Assisi and 2023 in Belgrade online participates in Artistic Residencies.
In parallel since 2012 she deals with the same themes of poetry and publishes his syllabus and on several anthologies his poetry, 2022 “Spaces” in Italian and Romanian and. Cosmopoli edited by Eliza Macadan and 2024 “November” edition NullaDie. Collaborates with several literary publications on the net and since 2022 is part of the Milan editorial team of the online cultural magazine Il pensiero mediterraneo and founded the Literary and Artistic Competition Vivi la realtà. Her poems are translated into English, Russian, Romanian and Serbo-Croatian.
In these years she received several awards and reports of merit at national and international literary competitions.
